Invergordon Bar opened at 381 Docklands Drive on 4 July 2025. Opening night turned an unfinished idea into a real local: full tables, Scottish pints, Highland whisky and a room of Docklands neighbours.

Opening the doors

The final approval arrived close to opening, and the first night quickly filled. That detail belongs to the story; it is not a promise of constant capacity or a reason to arrive without a booking for a large group.

The opening line-up

Tennent’s, McEwan’s, Guinness, Kilkenny and other taps introduced the drinks programme, alongside more than 40 Highland whiskies. The tap line has evolved since then, including Invergordon’s own lagers, so use the current drinks menu.

The local we wanted

The original aim still holds: a small, warm pub without televisions, where conversation comes easily. Dogs are welcome, and guests can bring takeaway because the bar has no kitchen.

Since opening

The live counter records pints poured since opening night and has passed 50,000. It is a shared milestone for the bar and its regulars, not a claim about an individual customer.
