Poetry at the Pub – Celebrating Robert Burns at Invergordon Bar

19 July @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join us for an afternoon of poetry, storytelling, Scottish culture, and good company as the Robert Burns Club of Melbourne presents Poetry at the Pub at Invergordon Bar.

Held as part of the Melbourne Tartan Festival, this free event celebrates the life and legacy of Robert Burns, Scotland’s national poet and one of the country’s most beloved literary figures.

Whether you’re a lifelong admirer of Burns’ poetry, have Scottish heritage, or are simply curious about Scotland’s rich literary traditions, this welcoming afternoon offers the perfect opportunity to experience Scottish culture in the heart of Docklands.

Enjoy poetry readings, storytelling, fellowship, and perhaps a dram or two as we share and celebrate Burns’ timeless works. It’s a chance to connect with fellow lovers of literature, history, and Scottish culture in a relaxed pub setting.

Located at Invergordon Bar, 381 Docklands Drive, we’re just a short tram ride from the Melbourne CBD and conveniently located within Melbourne’s Free Tram Zone.
