Scottish Pub & Bar in
Docklands, Melbourne.
A wee bit of the Highlands on Docklands Drive — Tennent's, McEwan's, Guinness, Kilkenny and Magners on tap. Highland whisky, no tellies, no racket — just proper pints and better company.
The House Rules
Invergordon Bar is a Scottish pub at 381 Docklands Drive, Docklands, Melbourne — close to Marvel Stadium and Festival Hall, with trams 70, 86 and 35 stopping at the door. We pour proper imperial pints of Tennent's, McEwan's, Guinness, Kilkenny and Magners, keep a serious Highland whisky shelf, and run Happy Hour with $10 pints from 4–6pm every single day. We're named after a Highland port town 16,000-odd kilometres from here — we brought the important bits with us and left the rest. Six rules, never broken:
No tellies. Ever.
We made the news on two continents for this one. The pub is for the people in it — your mates look better in person.
Pints, not pots.
A proper imperial pint, poured patiently, in a glass with some self-respect. This is not negotiable either.
Whisky gets respect.
Highland drams from friendly to fearsome — including a 50-year-old that's seen more than most of our regulars.
Your dog is welcome.
Dogs inside and out. Kids too, with a responsible adult — it's a community pub, not a velvet rope.
Bring your own dinner.
BYO takeaway from anywhere in Docklands. You sort the food, we'll handle the drinks side of the arrangement.
Blether is the point.
Blether (n., Scots): a long, happy conversation about nothing in particular. The entire reason this place exists.
Every Pint Is Counted
The brass plaque keeps the running total since opening night. The Tap Race tracks which beer is winning the month — your round could change the leaderboard.

■ Flags indicate country of origin, not manufacture. Tennent's Lager & McEwan's Export are imported from Scotland. Guinness, Kilkenny, Magners & Heineken may be manufactured under licence in Australia.
Happy Hour: $10 pints, every single day.
Aye, even Sunday.
The best value pints in Docklands — not just Fridays. A rotating tap special every day, plus $8 glasses of house wine.
- A different tap special daily — work your way around the board.
- Guinness poured properly: clean lines, correct gas, a patient pour.
- Loyalty members earn triple points during Happy Hour.
- 4pm–6pm, seven days a week. We don't miss.
“Stupid, silly, bizarre — Scots react to Aussie bar's no-TV stance.”
— The Daily Record, Scotland
We're still not getting a telly. The story ran in papers on both sides of the world — along with kinder words about the pints, the screen-free pub culture, and what we're building in Docklands.
Monday Trivia Night
fought in clans, settled over pints
Gather your clan and fight for bragging rights and a bar tab. Arrive for Happy Hour at 4pm, get your pints in, claim a table — trivia starts 6:30pm sharp and waits for nobody.
First in, first seated. Let Happy Hour do the warm-up work.

Get Yourself a Seat
Book ahead for two or more, or chance your arm as a walk-in — we'll always do our best to find you a stool. Want the whole place? That can be arranged.

Bookings & Walk-ins
Time-based bookings for 2+ guests, and walk-ins always welcome. Groups of 10 or more — give us a ring first.

Functions & Venue Hire
Private venue hire, subject to minimum spend — tartan, timber, proper pints and whisky, all to yourselves.
The Pints We Pour
Proper pints — not schooners. Scottish staples like Tennent's Lager and McEwan's Export, alongside British and Irish favourites: Guinness, Kilkenny, and Magners cider.

Uisge beatha
Say it oosh-ka bay-ha. It's Scottish Gaelic for “the water of life” — and after a few centuries of being said quickly in pubs, it became the word whisky.
Highland Whisky, Treated With Respect
We're named after Invergordon — a port town in the Scottish Highlands with a working whisky distillery — so the back bar is a point of pride, not an afterthought. The shelf runs from friendly first drams to a 50-year-old kept for the days worth marking.
New to whisky? Tell us what you usually drink and we'll pour you something you'll actually enjoy. No jargon, no snobbery — and if you'd rather stick to the pints, nae bother.
