AFL & NRL Game Days
Marvel Stadium is 750m away. We're the go-to pre-game and post-match pub for footy crowds passing through Docklands — proper pints, no queues, no fuss.
Post-Concert Nights
After big shows at Marvel Stadium thousands walk past our door. We stay open late on concert nights so you can keep the evening going with a Guinness or Tennent's.
Scottish Calendar Events
Burns Night on 25 January and St Andrews Day on 30 November are big nights at the bar. We also mark other British and Scottish occasions through the year.
Whisky & Happy Hour
Happy hour runs Monday to Friday, 4–6 pm — $10 pints, $8 spirits. We also run occasional whisky appreciation nights to explore our Highland selection.

The Closest Proper Pub to Marvel Stadium
750 metres from the front gate — an 8-minute walk through Docklands, or one stop on tram routes 70 or 86. We're open from midday on Fridays and Saturdays so there's time for a pre-match Guinness before you head in, and we stay open until midnight after the final siren or when the concert crowd spills out.

Routes 70 (Wattle Park) and 86 (Bundoora/Waterfront City) stop directly on Docklands Drive. Route 35 (City Circle) also runs nearby. Trams run frequently before and after events at Marvel Stadium.

Yes. We accept private group bookings via our online booking system. For larger groups or tailored arrangements — birthdays, farewells, work functions — email info@invergordonbar.com.au and we'll work out the details directly.
Is Invergordon Bar good before or after a Marvel Stadium event?
Yes — 750 metres, roughly an 8-minute walk. We're open from midday on Fridays and Saturdays for pre-match pints and stay open until midnight so there's somewhere proper to go after the game or concert.

Booking is strongly recommended for popular event nights — especially AFL game days and post-concert Fridays and Saturdays when Docklands is packed. Walk-ins are always welcome but tables can't be guaranteed without a reservation on peak nights.
What is happy hour at Invergordon Bar?
Happy hour runs Monday to Friday from 4 pm to 6 pm — $10 pints, $8 basic spirits, with a different featured beer each day. No booking needed, just show up.
Is there a cover charge for events?
No cover charge for regular event nights like AFL game days or post-concert evenings. For ticketed Scottish calendar events like Burns Night, a fee may apply — check our Facebook page or email us for details on specific upcoming events.
Is the bar dog friendly on event nights?
Yes — dogs are welcome at Invergordon Bar including on event nights. We have outdoor seating where four-legged guests are always welcome. On busier event nights, earlier in the evening tends to be easier with dogs.
