Invergordon Bar celebrated its grand opening on the 4th of July 2025, marking the beginning of a new chapter for whisky and beer enthusiasts in Melbourne’s vibrant Docklands area. Co-owners Erin and Dean worked tirelessly to assemble the final touches as enthusiastic patrons arrived at our doors, eager to experience a taste of Scotland right here in Melbourne.

### A Warm Welcome in Docklands

As the doors swung open just moments after receiving the essential green light from our building surveyor, Invergordon Bar came alive with excitement. The atmosphere was electric as Docklands locals poured in, curious and eager to explore their new local bar. With a capacity crowd on our very first night, the warm welcome from the community was both overwhelming and heartening.

Erin and I, Dean, extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who attended our opening night and expressed kind words of encouragement. Your support means the world to us, and we are thrilled to join the fabric of Docklands, serving both the local community and the wider Scottish expat network.

### Whisky and Beer Delights

Invergordon Bar takes pride in offering an extensive selection of over 40 Scottish Highlands whiskies, catering to both the connoisseur and those new to the world of whisky. Whether you’re fond of a smooth dram or curious to explore something new, you’ll find plenty to love on our shelves.

Our draught selection is equally impressive. With eight taps pouring, patrons can enjoy beloved Scottish treasures such as Tennent’s and Belhaven Scottish Ale alongside favourites like Guinness, Kilkenny, and local brew Furphy. We’re also excited to announce that Invergordon Lager will be flowing next week, adding a unique flavour to our already diverse lineup.
