Invergordon Bar opened at 381 Docklands Drive on 4 July 2025. The idea was a Scottish local in Melbourne: proper pints, a Highland whisky shelf and a room where people could hear each other.
A Highland name in Docklands
The bar takes its name from Invergordon in the Scottish Highlands. That connection runs through the whisky, Scottish beers and Pride of Scotland tartan. Read the story behind the bar for more.
Why this bar matters
We built the pub around the kind of visit we value: a conversation, a drink you enjoy, and a welcome that does not depend on where you were born. Locals, visitors and Scottish, British and Irish expats all have a place here.
A home away from home
Tennent’s Lager and McEwan’s Export bring familiar Scottish choices to the taps. Guinness, Kilkenny and Magners sit alongside them. Our whisky shelf gives curious newcomers and experienced drinkers something to explore.
The pub today
There are no televisions. Dogs are welcome, and BYO takeaway lets you bring dinner to your own local. The Pint Club records the regulars’ milestones, while the live pint counter records pints poured since opening night. We have passed 50,000 pints since 4 July 2025.
